High School is the Time of Your Life?

Sooo today in Composition our prompt at the beginning of class was to respond to the saying "high school is the best time of your life."
To be quite honest, that saying makes me scoff. If high school is your peak in life that's pretty damn pathetic. But you know what the really sad part is? It really will be a lot of people's peaks. It's the sad truth that not everyone grows out of the high school mind set where the stupid things matter. Like who has better clothes and who fucked who. So for those people, high school will be the best time of their lives.
But for me personally, I hope high school is the worst time of my life. High school sucks. And I can't wait to actually start my life and get the hell out of here.
