Uhh so I was supposed to have a prompt ready for today for my Composition class... but I spaced it. Whoops. Well I thought of a prompt, and since no one in my class is ever going to respond to/see it, I figured I'd write my response in my blog.
The question was,
"Do you think people are born inherently bad (evil, whatever), or that circumstances make them that way?"
Personally, I believe that circumstances make a person who they are, evil or not. I think almost everything that makes someone who they are has to do with what kind of family they were born into, how their peers treat them, and what obstacles are thrown at them thoughout life. I really don't think anyone can be 'evil' or whatever without something beyond their control happening to them and screwing them up.
